Push to Walk is a specialized exercise gym for people with spinal cord injuries and paralysis. We are a non-profit organization, dedicated to providing high quality one on one training sessions for our clients. Our trainers have either undergraduate or graduate degrees in Exercise Science or Exercise Physiology, with specialized training in spinal cord injuries. Our clients pay out of pocket for services, which are not covered by or reimbursed by insurance. Client fees are not enough to meet operating expenses; fund raising is critical to keeping our doors open. If you are interested in learning more about Push to Walk, or would like to make a donation, go to our website: www.pushtowalknj.org. Thanks for checking out our blog!

Hi,
I’m the author of the column you liked (on the Reeve Foundation website) about taking a first “step.” You summed up my way of looking at things very well.
I’m a regular essayist for the Reeve Foundation. I’d like to find out more about your organization. If you’d like to e-mail me info, please do.
Now – I know this is for promo purposes, yet I do believe you and yours would like it. I have a Facebook page which is a celebration of my caregiver dog’s life. We have over 6 million hits. Gracie (my pooch) is/was very well-known to the Reeve folks as well as to millions. If you want to take a look, it’s at: http://www.facebook.com/4footedcoach But – if you’re not a dog/cat/animal person, I’m not sure it will be up your alley.
Looking forward to hearing about you.
Saralee
Hi Saralee, So nice of you to comment! I look forward to reading more of your blog posts, and I will check out the Facebook link for Gracie. Sounds fun! I hope we can connect in the future. Cynthia
